Vintage Mercury 7" Lamp ; S+M 6VDC; TESTED, Mechanic, AUTO, Hot Rod, Headlight

Description

This is a S+M Mercury lamp with Amber lens. The lens is in great condition with VERY little scratching, and NO CRACKS.
The inner reflector is good, but has some staining (see pics). There is a fiber gasket that is not broken but has some bent places.

The Chrome is nice generally, but is not perfect. It has some scratching and corrosion (see pics).

I tested the lamp with 6V DC, and it works. Normally I would remove the bulb for shipping, but I do not know how to remove it without damaging it.

The cord needs to be replaced, but was sufficiently adequate for testing.

The band that secures the lens is pitted somewhat worse than the body of the lamp (see pics).
There is a dent and a couple of small places where the chrome was entirely ground off (see pics).

And there you have it. I have described the worst problems the best I know how.

This means that if you can get payment to me before noon, the item will come to you one day sooner than if you make the payment after noon of the same day.
