Vintage Lucas Light Unit 554816? Fog Lamp Lens? Headlight Lamp Lens? M5
I'm calling this used but I think it is actually unused/new. This came from a
gentleman in his 70's. His dad was in the auto parts business many years
ago and he's had auto parts sitting in his garage for years. Most of the parts
were
from the 50's and still new in the box. This Lucas light unit was among
these
other items and I have no clue about it regarding it's age or exact use.
Not sure if it's a fog or  a headlamp as the directions seem to be about both types.
I'm also not sure what age or type of vehicle this fits so you'll have to do your
own research. See the box picture I think the part number may read 554816.
Please zoom in on the directions to get better a better understanding. It says
on the box label "One Light Unit" and you can see in the directions picture the
"Light Unit" which is what this box contains (not the whole assembly bulb, etc).
It's just the glass lens portion that comes in this box and has an M5 stamped
on it. The box and paperwork have some damage as shown in the pictures.
