After many questions from people who was trying to convert a nitro jato to brushless we decide to build a durable brushless conversion kit so you can make your own jato electric!!
Machined out from aerospace 7075 aluminum and top grade plastic ,with this conversion you can install a 540 or a 550 type motor or even 1/8 scale motors with 40-42mm diameter and large capacity lipo batteries up to 4s,5s or even 6s (width limitation up to 53mm)
The  thick aluminum peace motor mount will also improove the stiffness of the chassis becuase of the 3 mounting holes on the transmission and chassis.
No modifications need for installation!
To complete the bl conversion on your jato cut* the plastic upper deck with a dremel tool
so you can  install the plastic battery tray and lock your transmition to single speed so you can use the motor reverse and break mode .
*(Last photo shows exact where to cut the plastic battery tray)
Locking the transmition requires the traxxas single speed conversion kit  #5593X
