    Description

    Original Marchal 640 model rear red fog light.  Made in France from 1949-1956.  Very rare.  5.5" diameter, 3.75" deep.
    Designed to be a high intensity rear light for rear visibility on foggy European days, wire this as a 3rd brake light for added security.
    Black painted steel housing with chrome bezel.  The finish of the housing is showing its' age, but maybe is still too nice to repaint.
    The factory chrome bezel is in excellent condition with a perfect chrome Marchal shield at the top. The red glass is like new.
    Complete with an original Marchal chrome K5 'swan neck' mounting bracket designed to clamp around the exposed part of the rear bumper support.  The height of the swan neck bracket works best with European bumper over riders.
    If you don't need the bracket, let me know and the price can be reduced.
    Will work with 6 or 12 volt bulb, please specify.
